Ofra Strauss is ranked 45th in Fortune Magazine's "World's 50 Most Powerful Business Women 2009" index. In Israel's Most Powerful Business Women index, compiled by the Israeli magazine Lady Globes, Ofra is listed at number 5.

The Lady Globes index specifically targets people who have overseen significant processes occurring in Israel. Included in the considerations made by the panel of judges was Ofra Strauss's leading role in steering Strauss's water project, including the acquisition of Tami 4 and the creation of Strauss Water as a means to implementing Strauss Group's water strategy. Addressing her ranking in Lady Globes, Ofra said "This year we had to adapt to the situation in the Israeli economy, cutting our expenditures and acting swiftly and pro-actively to minimize the affects of the crisis on our employees and numerous consumer groups. In such circumstances, the need to understand, conclusions and act swiftly and adamantly becomes crucial."
