Strauss-Group was graded as one of the top five Israeli public companies with the highest transparency out of the 100 public companies indexed. Strauss reached the second place with a very high transparency score of 85%.
This figure is shown in the first ever thorough research done in Israel examining the corporate-social-environmental business transparency, by reviewing the internet websites of all companies traded on the Tel-Aviv 100 Index. Beyond Business Corporate Social Environmental Responsibility Consulting firm conducted the research and published its finding in a conference held on May 4th 2009.

The four transparency dimensions examined in the research are:
• Report detailing the social-environmental activity carried out by the company at the company's website (50% of possible score) – publication, type and the report's transparency level.
• Transparency and the level of public sharing of information and company data in 11 major fields (30% of possible score) – business profile and strategy, corporate governance, corporate responsibility process management, ethics and human rights, discussion with interest holders, definition of fundamental issues and information about them, work environment, customers, marketing and products, suppliers and chain of supply, community involvement and environmental protection.
• Navigation in the company's internet website (10% of possible score) – number of clicks to reach information about corporate responsibility, search button, method of gathering information in the website, menu availability, site map.
• Accessibility of information in the website (10% of possible score) – site languages, accessibility for people with special needs, contact details, blog/videos and other information.
