Yinon Nir, GM of Yotvata Dairy, received the Industry Lifetime Achievement Award from the Israel Food Industries Association.
The Award is granted each year at the Food in the New Era conference, to people who have significantly helped to advance and change the food industry in Israel.
This year, marking 100 years of the Kibbutz Movement and its industrial plants, the Award Committee chaired by Dr. Ronnie Shapira decided to grant the Lifetime Achievement Award to Yinon Nir from Kibbutz Yotvata.
The Award was granted to Yinon in a ceremony held on Sunday, June 20, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry, Labor and Tourism, and the Director of the Manufacturers' Association of Israel.
