Strauss Group Ltd. ("Strauss", "We" and "Our") respects your privacy. This policy explains the accepted privacy practices for Our online services at www.Strauss-Group.com (the "Services" and the "Website", respectively). It describes the ways your personal information is collected and used and the rights and options available to you with respect to such information. This policy is incorporated by reference to the Website's Terms of Use ("Terms of Use").
Personal Information that Strauss collects
Some of the Services on the Website require registration. In the course of registration you will be required to provide personal information, such as your name, date of birth, gender, address, contact details and e-mail address. Strauss will explicitly indicate the fields designated for mandatory completion. If you do not enter the requisite data in the mandatory fields, you will not be able to register with these Services.
When you use certain sections and Services on the Website, for example, when you use the "Contact us" feature to obtain business information or information regarding human resources, Strauss may require you to furnish Strauss with relevant information in order to complete the respective Service. You are not required by law to provide Strauss your personal details. Username and password
As aforesaid, certain Services on the Website require registration. When you register with the Website, you will be required to provide a username and set a unique password that will identify you each time you enter the Services. Strauss may require other or additional means or methods of identification, from time to time.
You agree to maintain your username and password in absolute confidentiality and refrain from disclosing them to others. Make sure that you change your password frequently and at least once every six months.

Information gathered when using the Services
Strauss may collect information pertaining to your activity on the Website, including content that you created, information or advertisements that you have read, the web pages you watched, offers and Services that were of interest to you, the location of the computer and the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which you had access to the Website and more. Additionally, Strauss may collect or use the assistance of third parties to collect and analyze anonymous, statistic or aggregative information related to your use of the Services on the Website, including information related to your personal details and activities.
Use of Information
The information you provide and the information collected about your activity on the Website, will be stored in data base no. 369753 (the "Data base"). The Data base is owned by Strauss and registered with the national Israeli database registry. The information stored in the Data base will be used for the purposes the database was established for, in accordance with this Policy and any applicable law, including for the following purposes:
To provide the Services on the Website and to enable you to use them;
• To identify you every time you log in and to save you the trouble to fill in your personal details again;
• To improve and expand the Services and content offered on the Website, including to create new services and content which correspond to the requirements and expectations of the users of the Website and to modify or cancel existing Services and content. The information used by Strauss for this purpose will be mainly statistical information, and will not identify you personally;
• To improve and customize the experience of your and other users with the Services;
• To contact you every once in a while, either by Strauss or by anyone on its behalf, including by sending e-mail messages and information related to Strauss' Services and products and in order to execute researches and surveys. Such information and messages will be delivered to you, subject to your prior indication of consent that your personal details will be retained and organized in Strauss' Data base and in accordance with the Website's Privacy Policy. At any time you may withdraw your consent and opt out of the Website's mailing lists;
• To contact you as and when Strauss believes it to be necessary;
• To analyze and provide statistical information to third parties. This information will not identify you personally;
• For the orderly and proper operation and development of the Website;
• To any other purpose specified in this Policy or in the Website's Terms of Use.
Transfer of Information to Third Parties
Strauss will not transfer your personal details and any information collected pertaining to your activities on the Website (provided that such details and information identify you personally) to any third party, except in the following cases:
• When you use any of the Services. In these cases, Strauss will share your information only to the extent required to facilitate your use of the Services;
• If Strauss reasonably believes that you have breached the Terms of Use, or abused your rights to use any of the Services, or performed any act or omission that Strauss reasonably believes to be violating any applicable law, rules, or regulations. Strauss may share your information in these cases, with law enforcement and other competent authorities and with any third party, as may be required to handle any result of your wrongdoing;
• If Strauss is required, or reasonably believes that it is required by law to share or disclose your information;
• In any case of dispute, or legal proceeding of any kind between you and Strauss, or between you and other users or third parties with respect to, or in relation with the Services;
• In any case where Strauss may reasonably believe that sharing information is necessary to prevent serious damage to your person or property or to the person or property of any third party;
• If Strauss organizes the operation of the Services within a different framework, or through another legal structure or entity, or if Strauss is acquired by, or merged with another entity, provided however, that those entities agree to be bound by the provisions of this policy, with respective changes taken into consideration;
• Strauss may share personally identifiable information and information collected further to your use of the Website, with companies or organizations connected or affiliated with Strauss, such as subsidiaries, sister-companies and parent companies, with the express provision that their use of such information must comply with this policy.
• Strauss is also entitled to transfer or share anonymous, statistic or aggregative information with companies or organizations connected to Strauss, and with suppliers, business partners, advertisers, and every third party, according to Strauss absolute discretion; However, Strauss will not disclose your identity to them, knowingly or deliberately, without receiving your consent.
Data security
Strauss implements data security systems and procedures to secure the information stored on Strauss computer servers. Such systems and procedures reduce the risk of security breaches, but they do not provide absolute security. Therefore, Strauss cannot guarantee that the Services are immune to unauthorized access to the information stored therein and to other information security risks.
The Right to Peruse Information
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (the "Protection of Privacy Law"), any individual is entitled, whether himself or through a proxy so authorized in writing on his behalf or through his legal guardian, to access information pertaining to him that is contained in the data base. Any person, who peruses such information and finds it to be inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or non-updated, may contact the owner of the data base with a request to correct, amend or delete the data. Should the owner of the data base refuse to comply with such a request, he must inform the applicant of such refusal in the manner determined in the regulations under the Protection of Privacy Law. Any refusal on the part of the owner of the data base to permit access or comply with a request to amend or delete information may be appealed by the applicant in a magistrate’s court as determined in the regulations.
Moreover, should the information contained in the Data base be used for purposes of personally soliciting you, based on your affiliation to any population group as determined according to one or more attributes of people whose names are included in the Data base (“solicitation for commercial purposes”) – then you are entitled under the Protection of Privacy Law to submit a written request that such information pertaining to you be deleted from the Data base. Strauss will in such case delete any information that is required only for solicitation for commercial purposes as stated above. Any information required by Strauss for management of its business - including documentation of commercial and other activities performed by you on the Website - will continue to be legally stored at Strauss, but no further use will be made of such information for purposes of personally soliciting you. If within 30 days you do not receive notification that the information that Strauss was requested to delete was in fact deleted according to the provisions of this paragraph, you are entitled to apply to a magistrate’s court in the manner determined in the regulations and as authorized by law, in order that the court may instruct Strauss to take the required action as stated.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Strauss may change and update the terms of this policy from time to time. Strauss therefore recommends that you read it periodically. All substantial changes that Strauss makes to this policy will be notified on the Website.
