Strauss Water is a global company that provides advanced drinking water solutions (development of water purification, filtering, heating and cooling systems). in Israel and various parts of the world, and one of five companies which comprise the Strauss Group. The company's activity is conducted through the Tami 4 brand in Israel, the Strauss Water (T6) brand in the U.K., and through a partnership with Haier in China.
The Strauss Water plant in Israel (formerly the Tami 4 plant) was established in 1971 at Kibbutz Netiv HaLamed Hey, and in the late 70's the company started developing a drinking water cooling appliance. The first water appliance, which was launched in 1987, was followed by the development of a product line that expanded and evolved in conjunction with water consumer habits in Israel. In recent years, Strauss Water led an in-home drinking water revolution with innovative, state-of-the-art water dispensers, utilizing models of quality service and sales. Today, more than 350,000 families and businesses in Israel chose to use these solutions.
Strauss Water is Regarded a World Expert in Water
Strauss Water's team of scientists engages in advanced technological development in collaboration with Israel's academic institutions. Lab-produced technological innovations are translated into breakthrough quality and environmentally-friendly water purification and treatment solutions. As Strauss Water ensures an optimal blend of science and human engineering, all water devices are smart, user-friendly and state-of-the-art design.
All water systems include a water purification mechanism. Strauss Water has recently developed the MAZE water purification technology with scientists from Weizmann Institute and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A breakthrough in water purification, this technology is incorporated into company products, starting with the Water Maker product line that was recently launched in China.
Quality Safe Water
All company products comply with stringent quality assurance standards: Strauss Water is the only company in Israel to hold a 1505 Standard from the Israel Standards Institute for drinking water treatment systems. All company systems were tested and accredited under this Standard, and they undergo periodic follow-up tests in four ISI labs.
The Company also holds a WRAS Standard, a British Standard ensuring that all substances which come into contact with water are approved substances and will not cause any chemical reaction. The tests also address the composition of substances to make sure that no traces of them are found in the water.
Other Standards include the European Union Standard (CE), the Service Quality Standard (ISO 9000), and the ROHS Environmental Quality Standard that ensures that our products and their components do not contain any dangerous substances.

• Tami 4 systems won the titles "The Best and Highest Value For Money Home Water Purifier" and "The Tastiest Water" by the Test of the Nation enterprise,for the fourth consecutive year.
• In 2010, Strauss Water's Tami 4 Primo won the International IDEA award for world-class breakthrough design
• Tami 4 was named one of Israel's 100 Super-brands in 2010.

Organizational Structure
Strauss Water operates through three divisions: Strauss Water Israel, Strauss Water China and Strauss Water UK. These divisions are supported by a R&D and product development unit, and by global supply chain and headquarters.
The production factories are located in Israel, where these unique-technology water makers are produced in order to be marketed worldwide. Products marketed in Israel and the U.K. are assembled in Israel, whereas products marketed in China are produced there.
