How it all started
Strauss Group has identified the drinking water category as a significant strategic opportunity that complies with the Group's Mission. In 2007, the Group invested in a water-purification technology venture, developing ten patents in water purification and treatment. In 2009, the Group decided to establish Strauss Water, which acquired Tana Industries and the Tami 4 brand, an Israeli-based, international leading water company with over 40 years of experience and expertise.
Strauss Water started implementing its global vision by launching the T6 product in the UK in 2010 and the Water Maker product line in China - in collaboration with Haier - in 2011.
Strauss Water currently operates in Israel under the Tami 4/Strauss Water brand, in the UK under the Virgin Strauss Water brand, and in China - through a partnership with the global consumer electronics leader, Haier - under the Haier Strauss Water brand.
These divisions are supported by a R&D and product development unit, by a global operation and supply chain and headquarters.
The production factories are located in Israel and in China.
In Israel, Strauss Water produces, markets and services diverse water solutions for both the household and business sectors – more than 400,000 families and businesses in Israel use these solutions, representing millions of consumers who drink Strauss Water daily.
In China, the Haier Strauss Water markets and services the WaterMaker product line for households to enjoy safe water every day.
In the UK, the Virgin Strauss Water will continue its relationships with the over 8500 units installed, and expand the offer to include also the T7 product.

Recently the company has developed the MAZE water purification technology with Israeli scientists. This breakthrough technology is currently incorporated in the WaterMaker product line launched in China, addressing the unique needs of the people there for clean, safe drinking water solutions.
Highest quality Water
All company products comply with stringent quality assurance standards:
The Water Quality Association's Gold Seal, certifying the all company's products for treating and purifying drinking water, according to the strict NSF protocols.
The Company also holds a WRAS Standard, a British Standard ensuring that all substances which come into contact with water are approved substances and will not cause any chemical reaction. The tests also address the composition of substances to make sure that no traces of them are found in the water.
Strauss Water holds a 1505 Standard of the Israel Standards Institute for drinking water treatment systems. All company systems were tested and accredited under this standard, and they undergo periodic follow-up tests in four ISI labs.
The Company also holds the European Union Standard (CE), the Service Quality Standard (ISO 9000), and the ROHS Environmental Quality Standard that ensures that the products and their components do not contain any dangerous substances.

As we aim to deliver not only the best quality water, but also a great usage experience, we work with world leading product designers.
The T6 and T7 were designed by New Deal Design in San Francisco. The T7 was awarded IDEA award for world-class breakthrough design in 2010.
On 2011, In Israel, the Strauss Water products won "The Best and Highest Value For Money Home Water System" and "The Tastiest Water" by the Test of the Nation enterprise, for the fourth consecutive year.

Organizational Structure
Strauss Water operates through three divisions: Strauss Water Israel, Strauss Water China and Strauss Water UK. These divisions are supported by a R&D and product development unit, and by global supply chain and headquarters.
The production factories are located in Israel, where these unique-technology water makers are produced in order to be marketed worldwide. Products marketed in Israel and the U.K. are assembled in Israel, whereas products marketed in China are produced there.
