The four transparency dimensions examined in the research are:
• Report detailing the social-environmental activity carried out by the company at the company’s website (50% of possible score) – publication, type and the report’s transparency level.
• Transparency and the level of public sharing of information and company data in 11 major fields (30% of possible score) – business profile and strategy, corporate governance, corporate responsibility process management, ethics and human rights, discussion with interest holders, definition of fundamental issues and information about them, work environment, customers, marketing and products, suppliers and chain of supply, community involvement and environmental protection.
• Navigation in the company’s internet website (10% of possible score) – number of clicks to reach information about corporate responsibility, search button, method of gathering information in the website, menu availability, site map.
• Accessibility of information in the website (10% of possible score) – site languages, accessibility for people with special needs, contact details, blog/videos and other information.
