Yad Mordechai, one of the oldest and most cherished brands in Israel, is also recognized internationally. The beehive in Yad Mordechai was established in 1936 by the founding nucleus of Kibbutz Mordechai and has been the leading beehive in Israel ever since. In 2003, Strauss purchased a 51% stake in the Yad Mordechai Beehive, allowing the company to spread out to new sectors. In 2004, the company expanded its operations to include olive oil and 100% fruit jams. The company headquarters, factory and beehive are located on Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, which is south of Ashkelon.

Yad Mordechai Olive Oil is a result of our love of nature. The agricultural tradition, the love of man and the fruit of the earth are what have accompanied our olive oil. Yad Mordechai produces a range of cold pressed quality olive oils in various tastes that our oil experts persevere over, which bestow special tastes and aromas. Pure Honey
The tradition of honey in Kibbutz Yad Mordechai began in 1936, with the establishment of the kibbutz. The founders learned how to make honey from Australian soldiers who were stationed in Israel. The apiary has been developing ever since and today is the leading and largest in Israel, with over 4,000 hives scattered throughout the country and operated using the most advanced methods in the world.

100% Fruit Jams
The Yad Mordechai fruit jams contain 100% natural fruit or chopped fruit, lightly cooked into a rich jam that maintains the quality of the original fruit, without any artificial additives. The range of Yad Mordechai fruit jam flavors includes strawberry, strawberry-pomegranate, peach, plum, forest fruit and various other flavors.
