Our companies

Strauss Water

Strauss Water is a leading international company that specializes in high-quality, great tasting, purified drinking water solutions. We develop, produce and market environmentally-friendly drinking water heating and cooling WaterBars for in-home and business use.

In 2007 Strauss Group identified the drinking water category as a significant strategic opportunity, compatible with the Group’s mission – creating wonders out of basics. The Group invested in the H2Q water-purification technology venture with the aim of making clean, safe drinking water accessible to people in different parts of the world.

In 2009, Strauss Group acquired Tana Industries, an Israeli-based leading international water company that had developed the Tami4 line of water purification appliances, and established Strauss Water, a merger between H2Q and Tana Industries.

Our products are sold all over the world through business collaborations. In China, a partnership was formed with the Chinese Electronics giant Haier, Haier Strauss Water, and in November 2011 Strauss Water teamed up with Richard Branson’s Virgin Group to market  our products in the UK under the “Virgin Pure improving life with Strauss Water” brand.

In January 2015, Strauss Water and Haier Group in China announced on a series of share transfer agreements and a joint venture agreement, whose purpose was reorganization in the joint venture, Haier Strauss Water in China. As part of this reorganization, the businesses of the JV were transferred to a new company, Qingdao HSW Health Water Appliance Co., Ltd. The company will focus on research, development, installation, sale, maintenance, treatment and purification of water, and include water purification products in the reverse osmosis technology that were to-date owned by Haier.

Today Strauss Water offers a variety of in-home and business solutions in accordance with the highest international standards.
