Hugs and gift packs for the kibbutz communities
As part of our collaboration with the Kibbutz Movement here in Israel, we visited and gave a big hug to the evacuees from Nahal Oz, who have now moved to the Carmei Gat quarter in Kiryat Gat, and the members of Kibbutz Re’im who have resettled in the Florentin neighborhood in Tel Aviv.
“It’s a great privilege to hug, listen, and bring along a housewarming gift – a bag full of goodies,” said Yaara Gilat, 360 Media Manager at Strauss Group.

“For me, the significance of that Saturday, October 7th, was momentous, and the experience of meeting the people who were there and survived that terrible day is a powerful and moving one,” Gilat told us. “It’s a great privilege to hug, listen and bring along a sweet (temporary) housewarming gift, accompanied by a small drawing by my daughter, which moved everyone no less than the hug.”
The gift packs for the evacuated kibbutz communities, who are now relocating from hotels to temporary accommodations throughout Israel, were packed by our employees on a special volunteering day, together with the people of the Kibbutz Movement.
