Standing by Southern Israel: Strauss and Leket Israel collaborate for farmers in the Gaza Envelope
Strauss Group and Leket Israel join forces to aid agricultural farms in the Gaza Envelope and establish an aid fund with millions of Shekels for farmers affected by the war. “Farmers play an important part in Israel’s food security”
The Strauss Group and Leket Israel have announced a partnership for the benefit of the farmers and vegetable growers of the Gaza Envelope, which includes the establishment of a fund in the amount of millions of NIS. The fund will work to help farmers. Strauss has asserted that the vegetable growers and the Envelope farmers play an important part in maintaining the nutritional security of the citizens of Israel on a daily basis, making their crops a significant share of the total agricultural produce in the country.
Our Way to Honor Their Memory
To date, we have donated millions of shekels’ worth by way of hundreds of thousands of products. Some of these contributions are facilitated through civil society infrastructure organizations and our partners, including ‘Latet’ organization, the ‘Israel Association of Community Centers,’ and the ‘Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers.’
Simultaneously, we maintain direct and ongoing contact with various entities, including the Kibbutz Movement, IDF divisions, hospitals, and the Hostages Forum. We strive to address private initiatives and fulfill requested needs diligently.
Strauss Water has installed water bars in hospitals and distributed thousands of Tami4 reusable water bottles. The Elite coffee chain has distributed approximately 8,000 complimentary cups of coffee to security and rescue forces and established coffee stations in various centers.
we have offered unique solutions to various communities and audiences. This includes gluten-free products for soldiers with celiac disease, vegan products developed in collaboration with ‘Vegan Friendly,’ necessities for the Bedouin community, and sweet products and coffee kits for medical teams in Abu Kabir, Yamam units, Air Force bases, and more.

Dozens of Strauss employees, along with their families, packed and distributed over 23,000 care packages containing our products and a supportive message. These packages reached a wide range of locations, including bases and centers where Strauss employees serving in reserve duty or evacuated from the Gaza envelope are stationed. Even now, we persist in assembling and delivering care packages.
Our uplifting vehicles bring joy, products, and outdoor experiences to evacuee families and both regular and reserve soldiers. Over the next few weeks, we’ll reach approximately 50 locations, offering diverse activities, shows, workshops, coffee bars, Strauss products, care packages, and more.
